AB 199, Assemblymember Susan Eggman (D-Stockton) – SIGNED INTO LAW 9/16/2015
The bill would add recycled content manufacturing and processing to the successful Advanced Transportation and Alternative Sources Manufacturing Sales and Use Tax Exclusion Program. This will provide an incentive to recycle more materials into California’s manufacturing economy.

SB 489, Senator Bill Monning (D-Santa Cruz) – Photovoltaic Modules – SIGNED INTO LAW 10/1/2015
The bill has intent language encouraging Photo Voltaic (PV) module recycling planning and providing the Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC) with state authority to designate hazardous waste PV modules as universal waste through regulations.
The bill was signed into law by the Governor and was chaptered on 10/01/2015.
