How You Can Help at Any Level

There is much to accomplish at many levels. We need your help to grow this organization, whether you represent a local government, a business, a nonprofit organization, or are an individual who supports our mission. CPSC encourages you to:

  • Join CPSC and speak with a unified voice.
  • Advocate for statewide legislation.
  • Pass EPR resolutions and adopt EPR plans and policies (as appropriate)

CPSC is a rapidly growing coalition of local governments, businesses and individual stakeholders. We are staffed with two employees and rely on many part-time contractors as well as local government and business partners to assist in our effort. Although lean, we do need financial support to:

  1. Build capacity and knowledge to bring about producer financed and managed systems for product discards, including those covered by the universal waste ban, and;
  2. Develop and encourage the use of practical EPR policy and educational tools such as model ordinances and legislation, newsletters, articles, policy briefings, and PowerPoint presentation.
